The project
Context. Appscore, a digital consultancy now trading as Trideca, took an empty floor in a building with a corporate finish. The brief was an office that suited a technology team coming back together to work in person.
Planning. Collaboration set the plan. Breakout areas, think-tank rooms and quiet rooms give the team a choice of places to work, and power and data were planned with the layout so each space works the way it is meant to.
Materials. The existing dark floors and walls leaned corporate, so light timbers and whites balance them, and planting runs through the office to soften it further. In the breakout, a curved banquette is built around planting.
Brand. Appscore's bright green branding was translated into quieter teals and pastel greens across joinery, wall features and soft furnishings, so the office reads as theirs without repeating the logo colour.
Culture. Exercise equipment, a games room and a bar give the team places to spend time together outside formal meetings, in line with the company's values.
